Darrah (Pine) Beaver is a Wolastoqey leader from Neqotkuk with over 25 years of experience in Indigenous policy, education, and language revitalization. She holds multiple degrees including a BA and Honours BA from Carleton University and a Master of Arts in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at the University of New Brunswick, focusing on Wolastoqey language reclamation. Darrah has led language summits, supported community planning, and served as a Language Planning Advisor for Tobique Education
